I ALREADY HAVE A CRYPTOCURRENCY EXCHANGE ACCOUNT

If you have a trading account 1 on a cryptocurrency exchange, you will still need to create a new account on our service. These accounts won't be linked.

How to create an account from scratch​

If you don't have any accounts, after logging in you will see a connection page with available exchanges. The list of supported products and features is not final and may vary.

For Bybit, you can create a unified trading account (UTA, Unified). Your trading account will combine your spot and futures accounts, which distinguishes it from a classic account where futures and spot wallets are separate.

MARGIN MODE AND SUPPORTED SYMBOLS
  • By default, Bybit and Binance Link have cross margin mode enabled.
  • USDT-margined, USDC-margined derivatives, non-leveraged spot symbols are available on both exchanges.
  • Support for other sections will appear later.
  1. Click “Create an Account”.
  2. Click on the name of the cryptocurrency exchange for which you want to create an account (if you use several exchanges, you can create two accounts).
  3. Read the terms of use of the service and other attached documents.
  4. If you agree with the terms and conditions, check the corresponding boxes and click “Create an Account”.
  5. Creating an account takes up to a couple of minutes. Check your account statuses in the modal window.

Once the process is complete, you will see the final status of the account(s) and a button that will redirect you to the “Trading” page. On the “Trading” page you can see the name of the exchange in the upper left corner and the created trading accounts below it (futures and spot).

In the central part of the page, you will find brief instructions - a few simple steps that allow you to start trading. Follow the prompts on the screen.

How to create an account on a second crypto exchange​

If you already have an account on one of the crypto exchanges, then you can create a second account by clicking the “Create Account” button in the “Accounts” section.

  1. In the “Accounts” section, click on the triangle to the left of the connection name.
  2. Select “Add Exchange” from the drop-down menu.

Repeat steps 2–5 of “How to Create an Account from Scratch”.

How to switch from Bybit Classic to Bybit UTA​

If you already have a Bybit Classic account, then you can switch to UTA. The exchange sets the rules for the transition; you will not be able to switch to a new account type if you have open 4 orders and positions and/or a negative account balance.

Switching back to Bybit Classic is not possible!

The UTA account uses the cross margin mode; at the moment it is not possible to disable the mode. Please manage your risks carefully.

  1. Go to Profile → Settings
  2. Read the warnings above the “Switch to UTA” button carefully.
  3. Click “Switch to UTA”. Confirm the transition.
  4. Confirm the transition using the 6-digit code.
  5. Wait for the transition to complete.

How to switch between exchanges​

To switch between exchanges, use the drop-down menu in the “Accounts” section. If you selected only one exchange in step 2, you will be able to create an additional account later.

You can select the default exchange in the “Profile” section.

Possible problems when creating an account​

• It takes a long time to create an account. When creating an account, our service exchange data with the selected cryptocurrency exchange, transfer leverage settings for all symbols, as well as receive other trading account settings. It can take some time. If your account takes more than 5 minutes to create, contact our technical support. • If you see a triangle icon with an exclamation point next to your account type, our service had a problem creating your account. Please contact our technical support.
