Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication is needed to further protect your account. In order for an attacker to gain access to your account, they will need to know three pieces of information: your login, password and one-time authentication code. Our service uses Google Authenticator for two-factor verification.

AS AN OPINION: IT IS SAFER THAN SMS SECURITY CODES

Devices exchange the key once for synchronization. Unlike SMS, one-time passwords are not transmitted through intermediate channels and servers.

• If 2FA is activated, a one-time code will be requested when logging into your personal account, recovering or changing your password. • Creating and editing API keys, creating withdrawal requests, adding whitelisted wallets will require a 2FA code.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

  1. Go to Profile → 2FA → click “Enable”.
  2. Install the Google Authenticator application on your mobile device, if it is not already installed. After installing the application, click “Next”.
