KuCoin Error Codes
The notional volume must not be less than {x} or {y}$
- 100001 Please specicfy one the following order units: qty(for underlying currency), size (for contracts), or valueQty(for value)
The order's notional value of a perpetual futures contract must be equal to or greater than a certain value. If the value is less, the order will be rejected. It is necessary to increase the amount set so that it is greater than or equal to minimal value. The exact values for each symbol are provided in the notification text.
Insufficient funds to place an order
- 200004 Balance is insufficient
Insufficient funds to submit an order. It is necessary to check:
- account balance
- the working volume being submitted.
The order size for the current leverage has been exceeded
- 330008 Order quantity is too high, insufficient available margin
The allowed order volume has been exceeded at the current leverage. To place the order, reduce its volume or change the leverage. It’s possible that the exchange has lowered the maximum leverage — in this case, log in to your account and set a new value for the selected coin.
The order price must not be higher than {x}
- 300011 Order price cannot be higher than {param0}
The error occurs if you try to place a limit order for a contract far beyond the opposite side of the order book by a large percent. The notification includes the price limit value.
The order margin mode does not match the one selected in the terminal
- 330005 The order's margin mode does not match the selected one. Please switch and try again
This error occurs when attempting to place an order for an instrument if the margin mode in the terminal does not match the margin mode set for the instrument on the exchange’s website. You need to change the margin mode in the connection settings in the terminal or in the exchange’s personal account.
