These values apply to all order books opened now and in the future. Note that the application of values is carried out depending on the exchange:
Tab in global settings | Connection for which the values apply |
---|---|
Binance | Vataga Binance Link, Binance |
Bybit | Vataga Bybit, Bybit |
Each time the terminal is launched, the values in lots in all order books are recalculated in accordance with the new price.
Interaction with local order book settings (can be opened in the Order book window) is implemented according to the following logic:
- when a new order book is created, the current values of the global settings will be carried over to the local order book settings;
- when any parameter in the local order book settings is changed, this parameter will not be modified in this order book when changes are applied to global settings. In this case, a button with a round arrow icon will appear next to the locally configured parameter:

- when this button is clicked, the local parameter value will be replaced by the global one. The button disappears;
- from this moment, it will then update in accordance with changes to the global parameter. Local order book settings parameters that do not have the button with a round arrow icon will adopt global values;
- if at least one parameter is changed in the local order book settings, the Reset to global button in the local order book settings window will turn blue and become clickable:

- when the Reset to global button is clicked, all local parameters of this order book will adopt the values of the global parameters and will be synchronized in accordance with changes in the global parameters;
- the Reset to global button will turn grey and become read-only:

The parameters of the Trading tab of the local order book settings are used only locally.
If you load a terminal configuration file in which changes were previously made to the parameters in the local order book settings, these parameters in the order books will not adopt global values. In order for the order book to start adopting global settings, open the local order book settings window and click the Reset to global button.
To transfer all previously configured order books (in previous versions, in downloaded configs) to global settings, without manually resetting each order book to global, it is recommended to create a new config (General settings - Configuration - New).
