Terminal DEV version history

Here you can found the descriptions of the dev versions of the trading terminal. Such versions contain major changes that require preliminary testing before rolling out the release version.

The purpose of preliminary testing is to assess the quality of the terminal to determine if it is ready for use by a large number of traders and the subsequent release of the version.

These versions have full functionality of all previous versions, which allows to fully use the dev versions for trading.

Vataga.terminal 5.4.4.2986 (dev)​

Dev version
  • Added the ability to connect to the Bitget exchange
  • Trading of spot and futures instruments is now available (note: stop-limit orders, SL, and TP are not available when trading spot)
  • It is now possible to add a list of instruments (spot and futures) to the Quotes window

IMPROVEMENTS​

  • Modified the display of limit orders, stop orders, and SL/TP in the order book
  • Improved the mechanism for canceling an order in the order book – now it's possible to cancel a single order using the cross button on the left side of the order (existing cancellation methods still work)
  • Improved the mechanism for moving orders in the order book – now you can drag an order by holding the mouse on the cross and moving the cursor up/down (existing order dragging logic remains)
  • Improved the logic for placing/removing levels in the order book – now levels can be placed/removed using both mouse buttons while holding a hotkey
  • Implemented saving of the cluster timeframe by order book window (previously, the timeframe was saved per instrument)
  • Implemented display of executed order volume in the entry label in USDT – now it shows the value in $ when the “Trading orders in $” option is enabled
  • Optimized cluster area size and order book width in newly created or copied order books
  • Optimized charts to reduce hardware load
  • Added extended color settings for connections and levels in the order book
  • Added localization for certain errors from Bybit and Gate.io exchanges
  • Implemented “on-the-fly” saving of levels and signal levels to prevent their removal after terminal restarts

  • Added second time frames to the charts.
  • Improved chart updates in terms of market data — charts now move much faster.
  • Implemented saving of hotkeys and global settings to the configuration file.
  • Added support for OKX accounts created in the European Economic Area.

IMPROVEMENTS​

  • Improved saving of global settings and order book settings immediately.
  • Visual improvements made to the trade feed for better overall perception.
  • Rolled back the centering algorithm — now the order book is not centered when zooming in.

FIXES​

  • Fixed crashes in previously identified cases.
  • Fixed a bug where levels were removed from the chart after restarting the terminal.
  • Fixed a bug with old trades displaying in the "Trades" window.
  • Fixed a bug with the chart stopping.

ALERTS​

  • Added signal levels to the chart as a separate function, set via a new hotkey Signal level (on the Chart tab) or via the Plus button on the chart
  • Added a new hotkey Delete signal levels to delete all signal levels from the chart
  • Implemented triggering of signal levels when the Order Book and Chart windows are closed
  • Added a pop-up notification when an alert is triggered in the Order Book area or on the chart area (optional function, can be disabled in the general settings)

  • The logic for generating print sizes has been changed, a new mode for the tape added

  • Implemented display of charts in their original position when opening the terminal
  • Fixed a bug with levels missing on the chart when changing the timeframe or when changing a symbol

  • Fixed a bug with setting SL and TP orders
  • Fixed a bug with closing a position in isolated margin mode

OTHER​

  • Added copying of the global tab
  • Fixed a bug where the Bybit connection was simultaneously disconnected when disconnecting the Binance connection (and vice versa)
  • Fixed an issue with a non-working proxy for Bybit, OKX connections

GENERAL​

  • Added restoration of settings, connections and configurations in case of the app reset, now you need to restart the terminal to restore them
  • Fixed terminal crashes for identified cases

  • Fixed a bug with entering characters after the comma for the values of working volume and autostop, now the value in the cell is not missing if you enter zero immediately after the comma
  • Fixed a bug with hiding values less than $500 in the tape
  • Fixed a bug with saving the orders balance when switching the ticker
  • Fixed a bug with displaying the ticker in the header of an inactive order book
  • Fixed a bug with saving the position of the active cell of the working volume when changing the ticker
  • Fixed a bug with cutting off the ruler on the default font (SegoeVariableUI)
  • Changed the coloring of the cluster filling, now the color of the clusters with any filling corresponds to the color in the theme, without darkening / highlighting
  • Added a hotkey Close Mode (on hold), you can assign any key to the function of setting the entire volume of the position, previously this function was performed by the Alt key, without the ability to reassign the key
  • Improved the spot-to-futures linking, if you open an symbol in a order book for which there is no corresponding spot (or futures) pair, the previous symbol will remain unchanged in the linked order book

QUOTES​

  • The logic of linking to the active window has been improved, now the symbol will be opened in a window linked to the Quotes window only when clicking on the line with the ticker, and not when clicking on the Quotes window
  • Grouped lists for adding a spot to the Quotes window table

OKX​

  • The logic of closing a position on futures via the Close position (Close all positions) hotkey has been improved, now the position will be closed even if there is no available margin

Gate.io​

  • The logic of connecting to the exchange has been improved, the need to enable the Account permission in the API key settings has been removed

Bybit​

  • Vataga | Bybit connection can now be created (API keys must be created in the Vataga Crypto profile).
  • Bybit connection can now be created (API keys must be created in the Bybit exchange personal account)
  • The account type (Classic / UTA) is now automatically determined when creating a connection.
  • The created connection will be unified for spot and futures.
  • Trading is fully available for both spot and futures from both types of accounts: Classic and UTA.

Chart​

  • Fixed a bug with candles missing on the chart (rendered as dashes).
  • Fixed bugs with chart not loading.
  • Chart loading has been optimized and is now faster.
  • Fixed a bug with the chart stopping when switching timeframes using TradingView hotkeys.

Other​

  • Changed the icon for the Vataga | Binance Link connection.
  • The header now only displays the icons of connections that are created in the terminal.
  • Fixed a bug with frequent reconnection notifications.
